Purim & Evil

I noticed an interesting phenomenon the last couple of years – an ever growing number of costumes are related to evil. Every second girl is the devil, a tarantula, an angel of death. Even those nurse costumes (nurses are supposed to represent the ultimate good, remember?) have this air of “I will kick your *ss” about them. I suppose that this one specifically was inspired by “Kill Bill”, but the movie can’t be that popular…

Let’s face it, evil draws more attention. It’s mysterious, powerful. And it’s in every costume store in the country.

I bet there are lots of things one can learn from the trends in the costume industry, but it’s time for me to go so let me just share a few photos from yesterday’s company Purim party in Tel Aviv. 🙂
